All lessons are student specific and tailored to individual need. The overall goal is to improve each student's skills, ability, and confidence as a musician.

Private one-on-one equalizer monthly tuition (4 lessons per month for 10 months) is:

$160/month for 30-minute lessons

$245/month for 45-minute lessons

$300/month for 60-minute lessons

Attendance: Lessons are reserved for each student at their scheduled time and good attendance is expected. If students need to cancel, there are no credits. However, if canceled in advance, students may attend a lesson denoted as a make-up time slot in the portal. These are up to the student to reschedule through the portal.

*Note: No-show lessons cannot be made up.

Teacher Cancellations: If there are any additional teacher cancellations, the student will be credited towards their next month's tuition.

Weekend/Ala Cart Lessons: Weekend lessons and a la carte lessons are charged weekly at $60 per half-hour or $100 per hour. They may be cancelled with at least 24-hours' notice.

Sickness Policy: Each student will have access to an online lesson. If a student feels ill, please notify me and the student may choose to take a lesson online. Please give as much notice as possible when switching to online so I can prepare adequately. If 24-hour notice is given, then one is able to register for a makeup lesson.

Payment: Lessons are invoiced on the first of the month for that month and are due before the 15th. If unpaid by the 15th of the month a $25 late fee will be assessed. If lessons are not paid for after 60 days, student will be placed on the waitlist until payments are made and a new slot is available. Payment can be made via cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Communication is key, should you need leniency for any reason, please talk with me.

Music & Other fees: Student music will be charged per item for the cost of the item and will be ordered for them when needed with parental approval.

*Recording audition tracks $25 (practice tracks are included in lesson fees)

                * Accompanying for auditions or concerts $75/hour + $25/half-hour travel time

                * Recital Participation fees – dependent on recital venue/number of performers

                * Rewriting a piece for a student will be charged hourly at $25/hour.

Rescheduling: If you have scheduling questions, please first check within the portal for answers. It’s simpler for the student/parent to reschedule lessons by looking at the availability on the portal calendar than for me to guess what might work for you. If there is nothing available that fits yours needs, at that time you can reach out and I can see what I can do.

Theater students: If you cannot commit to your weekly lesson during the run of a show, you may keep your preferred slot by paying the tuition. In the event I am able to fill your slot with a non-tuition student, your account will be credited accordingly. You’re also able to attend make up lessons or switch with another student to make it work for your schedule. Should you need help in finding accommodation, I can assist here.

Group lessons or classes: Group/class tuition will be based on the course length. The tuition amount will be added to the private lesson monthly tuition and the same financial policies will pertain to these courses. There will be no make-ups for group lessons. A student may withdraw from the group/class, with a refund given based on the lessons attended. I reserve the right to cancel a group/class due to insufficient enrollment, at which time a full refund will be made.

Summer Lessons: To have priority scheduling for the school year, a student is required four summer lessons. These will be available through the portal, and you may sign up at your leisure. Lessons will be invoiced monthly, based on the number of lessons taken for the month. If you sign up after the invoice, those lessons will be charged on the next month’s invoice.

Other: Should a student need to discontinue lessons; a minimum notice of two-weeks is required. This allows time to fill their slot with a new student. If a student discontinues and is unable to be present for the final two weeks, the two weeks of tuition will still apply.
